Peter and Henry were on a business trip. They were getting close to the city and they began to see several tourist camps and auto courts. Henry asked Peter: “Shall we look for accommodations now, or shall we go into town and have dinner?” “Let us go to town first. There we should find a place to stay”.
They arrived in the city and saw a hotel --the Great Hotel. They parked in front of it and went into the lobby. They went to the desk and there they asked for the rates. The manager informed them that a single room rented for $40, and a double one for $70. He explained also that each room had a private bath.
They thought the rates were too high so instead of renting a room they decided to eat first and look for accommodations after dinner.
The hotel had a restaurant, so they decided to have dinner there. After dinner Henry asked Peter: “Should we stay in this hotel?” Peter answer: “I don’t think so. The rooms in the hotel are more expensive than the ones in the auto courts we saw along the highway. What do you think?”. “I agree with you”.
They went back to the main highway and in a short time they found a place not too far from town.

Pedro y Enrique andaban en viaje de negocios. Se iban acercando a la ciudad y comenzaron a ver varios campos para turistas y sitios en donde pueden hospedarse personas que viajan en automóvil. Enrique preguntó a Pedro: “ ¿Buscamos alojamiento ahora, o vamos a la ciudad a cenar?”. “Iremos primero a la ciudad. Allí encontraremos un lugar donde podamos hospedarnos.”
Llegaron a la ciudad y vieron un hotel –-El Gran Hotel. Se estacionaron enfrente y entraron al vestíbulo del hotel. Se dirigieron a la carpeta de registro y allí preguntaron los precios. El encargado les informó que el cuarto con una cama se alquilaba por $40 y el de dos camas por $70. También les explicó que cada cuarto contaba con un baño privado.
A ellos les pareció que los precios eran demasiado elevados, así que en vez de alquilar el cuarto, decidieron buscar alojamiento después de la cena.
El hotel tenía restaurante, de manera que decidieron cenar allí. Después de la cena Enrique le preguntó a Pedro: “ ¿Nos quedamos en este hotel?” Pedro contestó: “No lo creo.” “Los cuartos del hotel
son más caros que los de los sitios que vimos a lo largo de la carretera principal.” “¿Qué piensas tú?” “Concuerdo contigo.”
Regresaron a la carretera principal y en corto tiempo encontraron un lugar no muy lejos de la ciudad.
